My Thoughts:
This was a book I got from the library over my Christmas break from school. I loved it! I thought the story was very captivating and got your attention from the very beginning. I loved that the main character June was a strong, smart female. There are a lot of books where the main character is this lonely, bullied outcast with between one & three friends. June was a girl pulling tricks & training to be in the military like her older brother.
Day is also a great character. I was happy to find out that he was just as smart as June. He's what you call a troublemaker with good intentions. It was interesting to see their games of cat & mouse as June tried to capture him for killing her brother, but even more interesting to see them come together for the same goal.
This book had a lot of action in it along with wonderful romance, falling for the enemy is always interesting. And learning that the world you know & want to protect is..... well, the real enemy? Devastating. I loved following June on her journey and can't wait to read Prodigy.
